Xbox players may get their Xbox account banned for having the Glitch Sword.

It was even said to have every weapon effect, which is impossible.

Contrary to popular belief, the Glitch Sword does nothing.

Equipping the Glitch Sword in the Weapons Frog is no longer possible, as it was patched.

When the weapon is on the ground however, it cycles through every weapon in the game rapidly (Original versions only). The Glitch Sword looks exactly like the Skinny Sword, except it does nothing. In order to equip this weapon, you needed to go past where every weapon was located, go to the top of the Weapons Frog, then perform a light attack to equip the weapon, seemingly out of nowhere. The armor diagrams are located in an unmarked ruin near Dragonslayer's Grotto. Heading up the small ledge where the entrance is, the chest is located behind stalagmites. Heading inside, there will be a rabid rock troll and more nekkers that need to be killed. If one had a hacked save, then it is highly probable that they had a Level 256 character as well, which is where the misconception that you need to be Level 256 to equip this weapon came from. The silver sword upgrade is southwest of Drahim Castle, beside Ursten, at a Nekker den. Obtaining this sword required an illegitimate save where you had every weapon unlocked, even the unobtainable ones such as the Horn or the Map. The Glitch Sword is a weapon that cannot be obtained normally in the game Castle Crashers.
